I’m listening to Interpol’s first two albums and it is like taking a time machine back to 5th-8th grade. Interpol was the first band I was really, REALLY into. My myspace profile/blog was covered in their lyrics and I definitely joined an Interpol livejournal fan forum (or something like that.) First concert, first musical obsession. “Turn On the Bright Lights” and “Antics” were my favorite albums for all of my tween years. It’s wonderful to have so much nostalgia attached to certain music, even if the albums are not exactly normal selections for a 12 year old girl. <3 u 4-ever Interpol even though you definitely suck now.
