I love Anthropologie but I often don’t have the dollah billz to actually shop there so I just go in and smell every soap possible and try on aprons and cry over how beautiful everything is. I love a lot of the shops in Olde City cause that’s my neighborhood (don’t live there, just hang out there a lot) so places like Sazz Vintage, Vagabond, and Sugarcube are cool. Smak Parlour also has some super cute jewelry. I also think the Buffalo Exchange in Philly has a few treasures if you look closely enough.
For magazines my ultimate favorite store is Avril 50 in University City because they always have rare literary journals and weird art magazines that I can’t get anywhere else. I’ve only been once but the Anarchist Bookstore (on South Street) has a great zine selection as well.
And check out the Punk Rock flea market each season although I think the Fairmount flea market has the best jewelry selection. Definitely go to those.
And also, of course, china town! For everything! Shanghai Bazaar is pretty cool and there’s this really great plant shop that has an awesome lantern selection (I love lanterns) and all of them are like 50 cents but I forget what it’s called :(
